Challenges

The Learning Experience approached Web Loft Designs in the fall of 2022. With more than 400 locations nationwide, they faced multiple challenges: site performance issues, poor organic visibility, and a disjointed customer experience. TLE needed to enhance conversion rates for both potential clients and job seekers while establishing their identity beyond traditional daycare. With staffing being a key concern, the website needed to effectively engage parents who frequently compared childcare options and made last-minute decisions.

 

Web Loft Design Solution

After comprehensive audits, we developed and executed a four-month strategy to transform TLE's digital presence. We streamlined user journeys, redesigned for better conversions, and enhanced form submissions. The new site effectively communicated TLE's mission as a growth-focused preschool, with dedicated sections highlighting teaching opportunities and career benefits.

Starting in April 2023, we moved from planning through design and development, launching in October 2023. Key deliverables included custom design and development for 400+ location microsites with API-integrated lead forms, job board integrations (Greenhouse and Career Plug), GMB reviews integration, 60 blog posts, and accessibility implementation.

The Results

The results were remarkable across all metrics. While website migrations typically see a 30% loss in organic traffic, our soft migration (preserving 95% of URLs) saw only a 6% dip after two weeks. By week four, organic traffic increased 23% year over year, culminating in a 175% overall traffic increase this past quarter. Conversion rates and form submissions significantly improved, with the website effectively conveying TLE's mission and creating stronger emotional connections with visitors. The enhanced career sections attracted more qualified job applicants, addressing staffing challenges. Most importantly, the clear communication of TLE's unique value proposition led to increased inquiries from parents actively seeking childcare options, driving substantial business growth.
