Akama Group, a fresh face in the cigar accessories market, approached Web Loft Designs with a classic startup challenge: establishing their brand online from scratch. Their mission is to catch the attention of cigar enthusiasts - specifically, 40-something gentlemen with a taste for luxury.
With no existing web presence, Akama Group needed a platform to showcase their premium offerings: elegant cutters, top-notch humidifiers, stylish humidors, and lighters that would make any aficionado's eyes light up. But in a market full of established names, to stand out is not an easy task.
Our goal was to create an elegant showcase for Akama Group's products and a seamless path to purchase.

Over a decade ago, I was introduced to Marina over a training call while in graduate school. At the time, I had just concluded studies in search engine optimization and mobile marketing and commerce. During the training, I was overawe with the custom websites designs and how the needs of the customer were the nucleus to the development process. When I decided to develop my own e-commerce site, I knew who to phone. I reached into my database, and contacted Marina. Still the pleasant erudite professional, I informed Marina about the requisite.
Paul was the project manager. He did a exceedingly fine job of presiding over the development process. At times, it appeared intimidating. Nevertheless, Marina and Paul were there every step of the way. When there were questions, they had solutions and recommendations.
