Edison Optics sought a strategic overhaul of their website, necessitating a modern and user-friendly CMS and eCommerce platform. The objectives were as follows:
- Develop a clean and engaging B2B ecommerce site with simple navigation, providing informative content to visitors.
- Implement eCommerce functionality for registered B2B and B2C customers, enabling them to easily view products, place orders (with off-site payment processing for B2B customers), and save products for future purchases.
- Ensure a seamless purchasing experience with accurate calculations of shipping and taxes.
- Integrate with the QuickBooks Enterprise system for real-time inventory management, accounting processing. This also includes the ability for sales reps to view accounts managed by them.
The resulting website accomplished these goals, offering a streamlined user experience, robust eCommerce capabilities, and seamless integration with the QuickBooks Enterprise system.
